SUMMARY
Kwin breifly stutters when tiling or maximizing a window 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. drag window to the sides of the monitor or the top
2. make sure the side tiling or maximizing happens
3. move mouse around

OBSERVED RESULT
mouse will stutter afterwards after the animation is complete

EXPECTED RESULT
there should be no stutter

Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux 6.9.8

It's a bit hard to notice, but it's around the 1 second mark. I'll try to get a better video soon.

Can reproduce on wayland, git master -- if you look at the mouse it will stutter just after tiling/maximizing

Thanks, guess I should have clarified a bit more about my setup, dual monitors at 144hz and running kwin wayland.

Ran iotop -o and started dragging windows to quick tile them and fullscreen, looks like it's the same bug as https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=487043, so it's still not fixed? Moving my mounting my ~/.cache/kwin/qmlcache to tmpfs didnt help and might have made it worse.

Got the same error with Plasma 6.2.1 on X11 - also happens when switching virtual desktops where one has a maximized screen.
