Yesterday I was working on a file for a long time and then I pressed Ctrl+S and then I go to File > Save and it still doesn't save my file I reopened the file and everything I did is gone Krita didn't show me any error or any other message and my file just disappeared auto-save didn't help either I restarted the whole system but I couldn't get my work back I was working on LINUX Blackware 15. 0 version of Krita 5.2.3, which I downloaded from the official Krita.org website with the file .AppImage And all this started because when I used my Pen tablet XP-Pen deco 01 V2 for some reason when drawing a straight line there were gaps in it and I thought I needed to reboot the system after saving and reloading the save disappeared
Hi, sorry to hear about that, but I don't think this is a bug in Krita. Most likely the system ran OOM or encountered some other stability issue that prevented it from saving correctly. If you start Krita, create a new document, draw a few lines, can you then save it correctly? If yes, then I don't think this bug report is actionable. Thanks.
