Created attachment 171404 [details] Video showing that the taskbar does not show when pushing cursor into it SUMMARY I use the default panel at the bottom of the screen. I set the panel visibility to "autohide". When I move my cursor to the bottom of the screen and "push" further, the panel does not reveal itself STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set panel visibility to "autohide" 2. Try to show the panel by moving cursor to and "into" the bottom of the screen OBSERVED RESULT Panel does not reveal itself EXPECTED RESULT Panel should reveal itself SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 40 (up to date as of July 5th 2024) (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.1 ADDITIONAL INFO I am using an OLED display, and would like to prevent burn-in into the screen due to static elements being displayed on the screen. If the panel does not show when set to autohide, I am forced to use it set to always visible, which accelerates screen wear and tear.
What's the output resolution and scale factor? do you use custom themes?

Hey there, sorry, had some stuff going on. Turns out this bug is due to enabling "switch desktops on screen edge". This also enables the bottom and top edges because virtual desktops can be in a grid too. This is interfering with the panel autohide. It's a shame I can't use this because I love the switch desktops on mouse to screen edge feature, but I can't show the panel. I have an oled display so ... yeah. I don't know what to do. I'm using corners for now, but that is bad UX, imho. I hope this can be fixed somehow.
