SUMMARY Spectacle screen recording was working until Plasma 6.1 update. Now it is able to turn on and start screen recording but will freeze and crash when you try to click on the "recording" button in system tray and the recording will not be saved. I don't know how to gather logs from it. If someone guides me through that I will post spectacle logs too. It doesn't matter whether you use rectangle region or fullscreen or even window, its the same issue all around. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start Spectacle 2. Click "Recording" tab 3. Choose whether to record Window, Rectangular Region or Full Screen 4. Click "Include pointer" 5. Start recording 6. After recording for a bit try to close the recording by pressing on the "recording" circle in the tray OBSERVED RESULT - Spectacle will freeze and become unresponsive until a dialog appears asking whether to wait or close it - Recording is not saved EXPECTED RESULT - Spectacle to stop recording - Spectacle to save recording SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.9.7-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × Intel® Core™ i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz Memory: 23.3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Nvidia GeForce 2060 mobile ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I do not know how to provide logs for spectacle.
