SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Load video that's longer than 5 min. Move it on to V1. Play it.
2. After a variable time 5 - 8min playback freezes.  Moving the cursor does not change the screen image. 
3. Can be fixed by inserting a Cut ( Shift R).  video will play and edit normally.

Thanks for your report. This issue was fixed in 24.05.2. Upgrading should solve your problem
