SUMMARY When you open the hamburger menu in System Settings and select "Highlight Changed Settings", it marks all sections of the settings with non-default settings with a yellow dot, and the individual settings that have been changed are also highlighted when opening each control panel. In "Apps & Windows", "Window Management", "Window Behavior", "Advanced" tab, I changed the setting for "Window placement" from the default "Centered" to "Random". This settings modification was not registered by the "Highlight Changed Settings" option, which shows dots on many other settings modules. The setting itself is not highlighted when the panel is open, and the panel header in the sidebar does not get a yellow dot. Restarting the System Settings app made no difference. Minor issue, but it seems that whatever mechanism keeps track of settings that get changed from defaults is not catching that setting being changed. Seems other settings in that "Advanced" tab are also not registering. In fact it may be the whole "Window behavior" module that is immune to being seen by "Highlight Changed Settings". I tried some things in the other tabs, they also did not produce the yellow dot next to the module name.
