Description wiiznokes3 2024-06-30 15:13:16 UTC
I think it make sense to make this configurable, because kwallet and gnome-keyring are very different. I find gnome-keyring much simpler (it never ask for a password (unlocked by default), and choose the system of encryption on his own).

Also, this will allow to share secrets between DE.

And finally, in certain case, i can cause problem to use 2 differents wallet backend [cf](https://issues.chromium.org/issues/348970861).

I would like a pick list to be added in the settings app to choose between wallet backend.

Thanks

We're aware what KWallet isn't ideal, and there are various ideas for how to improve. Thanks for this suggestion! We may or may not implement it depending on what ultimately gets decided.
