SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Switch taskbar to icons mode (where only icons shown, without program name).
2. Make sure that window preview enabled
3. Hovering mouse over tasks switch windows with alt+tab. Over some time (for me like average 30 minutes) whole plasmashell will freeze (type of bug similar to endless I/O wait, meaning no high cpu load, just stopped process with only option to fix run kill with flag -9, as without flag no effect.). Then it keeps killing plasma shell for approx 7-8 seconds and reloads plasmashell. After reload no more window previews show, only huge icon drawn and since that plasmashell no longer hangs until system rebooted and previews shown again.

Also less critical bug is, that if to hover mouse so that preview appears and then switch to full screen window preview gets stuck until window don't exit full screen mode or minimized.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma: Latest
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.1
KDE Frameworks Version: Latest
Qt Version: 6.7.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Guess that matters, it's Wayland session (this definitely matters), but also new nvidia driver as well. That's the only bug remaining so far that is critical to fix I found that really causes a lot of inconvenience. If to disable previews of windows, no hangs happen and stalled image artifacts happening.

I add also my report to NVidia. https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/555-release-feedback-discussion/293652/165?u=phoenix91140

It only happens with what I posted. And I believe there is some maybe mixed issue where not implemented sync or something well with nvidia. As far as I understand it happens only on nvidia card. So probably to cooperate with nvidia and fix the bug.

Wayland is totally new thing to me, so please guide me, if any extra info needed

Unfortunately this is a known bug in the 555 driver series. :(
