*** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Drag Sepia effect to track header 2. Try to delete the effect 3. OBSERVED RESULT Sepia effect won't delete from the track EXPECTED RESULT Deletion of the Sepia effect SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I accidentally placed track effects that I did not intend. I could disable them individually but it would be cleaner if I can just delete them.
Hmm, works for me on Win11 and the same version of Kdenlive. How did you install Kdenlive? Please post a screen recording of adding and trying to delete the effect, if possible. Does it work for other effects?
Created attachment 171267 [details] =?UTF-8?b?S2RlbmxpdmUgRWZmZWN0IGJ1Zy5tcDQ=?= Thanks for the quick reply. I installed KDENLIVE using the installable Windows version. I have Windows 10. I can add and delete effects in the clip level. When I try using effects on the track is when I run into the delete issue. I found that the issue is just not for the sepia effect but for other effects too. I cannot reproduce this in any version I have available (installed and standalone). Please uninstall Kdenlive, then check whether these folders and or files exist and delete them all: https://docs.kdenlive.org/en/getting_started/installation.html#kdenlive-in-a-windows-domain Then re-install Kdenlive or go with the standalone version. Let's see whether that solves your issue.
