I have an Epson Stylus Office TX320-F printer and I have always used it on Linux normally for 4 years on KDE Plasma, but now Plasma is saying that the driver was not found. It's something very strange because it always worked well and now this situation occurs saying that the driver was not found. I tried to install manually, but my printer model does not appear in the list in Settings > Printer > Add Printer > Epson. Is there a workaround to not stop my job ? Operating System: Fedora Linux 40 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.1 Kernel Version: 6.9.7_tkg_pds (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 Manufacturer: ASUS
How is your printer connected? Wifi? USB? I see that printer in the CUPS model list so it should be detected. What is the output of `lpinfo -v`?

Okay, I see a driver for each the 300 and the 320 here, on Tumbleweed, with CUPS 2.4.10 Sounds like your distro might need a CUPS update. Can you check the CUPS version you have?
I just noticed also, that I have a packaged called `epson-inkjet-printer-escpr` installed. Perhaps that provides up-to-date epson drivers and that package exists on your distro.
Please verify your CUPS version and trying install the epson-inkjet-printer-escpr package.
