Description A. Kelly 2024-06-29 15:48:09 UTC
SUMMARY
Some URLs do not open on primary mouse-click (left mouse button). Only right clicking links -> open URL works.
This does not happen for all links, I'm not yet sure what causes left clicking to work in some emails but not in others.
Sometimes some links do work and some do not in the same email.
Mostly HTML/CSS styled buttons do not seem to work.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open an email in KMail
2. Click on URL in email

OBSERVED RESULT
Hovering over URL shows the link in the bottom right corner, however clicking the URL does nothing.

EXPECTED RESULT
Clicking the URL opens the configured URL handler.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 A. Kelly 2024-08-12 17:27:25 UTC
I discovered middle-clicking on the links always open the links in my web browser, so I'll be using that as a workaround for now. Still, left clicking should of course just work out-of-the box.
