SUMMARY Latest version of Kontact (K-mail) has lost support for etesync calendars. According to this bug report: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482600, etesync support should have been returned to Kontact with version 24.02.0-4 of kdepim-runtime. I can report that as of version 4:24.05.1-0xneon+22.04+jammy+release+build66 it is still not working. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open K-mail 2. Click on Calendar, right click- Add Calendar 3. Look for the Etesync Groupware Resource to add. OBSERVED RESULT "EteSync Groupware Resource" is not available as a calendar option. EXPECTED RESULT "EteSync Groupware Resource" should be avaliable as a calendar option. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.1.1 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This type of calendar was available in previous version of Kontact and it has been removed. Please add support back. According to this post it should have been fixed 3 months ago however it does not work: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=293734 According to this bug report it was also fixed: https://invent.kde.org/pim/kdepim-runtime/-/commit/65edf9bbf56de4a58bbfbe833cb546617c54a201. As of 6.1.1 on KDE Neon it is not fixed.
I don't see Etesync as an option for a new calendar in either Solus or Neon in Kontact 24.05.1
(In reply to TraceyC from comment #1) > I don't see Etesync as an option for a new calendar in either Solus or Neon > in Kontact 24.05.1 According to @Antonio Rojas in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482600 this is a neon packaging issue that has already been fixed in Arch. Does anyone know who is in charge of packaging Kmail for neon to integrate this fix?
Now added back, will be included in snapshot shortly
