STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. run cs 1.6
2. go back to desktop
3. extra not needed overlay for some reason

OBSERVED RESULT
it gives extra black on popup window which is unwanted

EXPECTED RESULT
no extra overlay

it seems only it happens on chromium on desktop background is not happening, i dont know i put ticket in right place

This is an inherent limitation of Xorg, it doesn't have transparency unless a X11 compositor is active - and it gets disabled in games by default, because performance is worse otherwise.
You can change this in the compositor settings if you want.l
