ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 TraceyC 2024-07-01 16:29:51 UTC
I verified that I can open epub files v3 and older with Arianna snap (23.08.3) on KDE Neon (fully up to date)
Removed that and installed from Flathub (24.05.1). I can also open epub files with that.

Arianna may be crashing on your system. We need a backtrace of it so we can figure out what's going on. Can you please attach a backtrace of the crash using the coredumpctl command-line program, as detailed in https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports#Retrieving_a_backtrace_using_coredumpctl?
Thanks!
