Tested in: digiKam-8.4.0-20240623T100654-Qt6-x86-64.appimage

Enabled: Settings -- Application Views Settings -- Show digiKam Captions
Display error in thumbnail caption field: displayed rows are shifted vertically
In previous digiKam versions (Qt5) this worked fine.

I can't reproduce it here. There might be some special characters in the caption text. Can you provide a sample image?
