SUMMARY In the past couple of months, I have observed that KDE Connect keeps unpairing itself from my Android phone. Initially, I thought this might be a temporary bug, but as time has passed, I see that this issue is persisting. So far, I have been pairing them over and over again, and they stay paired for up to 2-3 days before unpairing themselves, requiring me to go through the pairing process again (accepting key pairs and such). This is inconvenient and tiresome. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. pair up kdeconnect with an android phone 2. wait a coupe days 3. your phone is no longer paired up OBSERVED RESULT Unpairs as in completely forgets each other: PC doesn't recognize the key of my android, and my android doesn't recognize the key of my PC, so I have to accept the key again from one another. EXPECTED RESULT it should remain paired for life or until I manually tell to unpair the two.. I pair them up for a good reason SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240621 KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.1 Kernel Version: 6.9.5-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 Manufacturer: MSI Product Name: MS-7972 System Version: 2.0
no longer seems an issue, all works fine on my kubuntu 25.10, perhaps its was an opensuse issue, closing it for now.
