SUMMARY
Spectacle crashes and does not work to create partial (rectangular region) screenshots in Wayland.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open spectacle manually or via Prtscrn key.
2. Select rectangular region.

OBSERVED RESULT
Spectacle crashes.

EXPECTED RESULT
Spectacle should take the screenshot and show its appropriate preview.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Linux 40 KDE Spin
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0
Qt Version: 6.7.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is piped through an external monitor as the main device out of a ThinkPad T480. The monitor is 1920*1200 resolution: HP ZR2440w.

If something crashed, we need a backtrace of it so we can figure out what's going on. Can you please attach a backtrace of the crash using the coredumpctl command-line program, as detailed in https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports#Retrieving_a_backtrace_using_coredumpctl?
