*** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** SUMMARY My interface has 2 inputs but it's recognized as 1 stereo input, so Alsa UCM rules separate these inputs into 2 separate virtual inputs. A change has been made where the description of the sink is omitted so previously my inputs showed like this: - Mono Input 1 (Volt 2 Mono Input 1) - Mono Input 2 (Volt 2 Mono Input 2) Now they look like this: - Volt 2 - Volt 2 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Update to Plasma 6.1.0 2. Open PA plasmoid OBSERVED RESULT 1. I should be able to differentiate between my inputs through their description EXPECTED RESULT 1. Both inputs have exactly the same name now SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux 6.9.5-archi1-1 (64-bit) KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This would probably pose a problem with other professional audio interfaces with multiple outputs/inputs. Is there a change I should make, or is there a way to add an option to show different information about the sinks to tell them apart?
Also I noticed my speaker icon in tray now apears gray, not white like before.
