SUMMARY
freehand selection stops drawing prematurely on the first stroke after switching from brush to freehand selection

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. draw a brush stroke
2. switch to freehand selection
3. keep selecting, after around 1 second, it stops and closes the shape even though the pen is still pressed down
afterwards it works normally

tested on 5.2.2 (linux steam version), 5.2.3-beta1 and up (incl. nightly) (windows version)
