Date breaks into two lines instead of resizing

Instead of the date being resized to fit in a single line, it's breaking into two lines.

You wouldn't want it resized onto a single line if it were any longer than that. We'd need to only do this when using a known short date style.

I'm not having this bug anymore, and on top of that it seems that it will be fixed by:
