*** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** SUMMARY KRDP - Enabling autostart requires user interaction at startup STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to Settings - Remote Desktop -> enable autostart on login 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT It pop ups a dialog asking to share desktop. EXPECTED RESULT Whats the point of Wake on Lan and auto-login if I need urgently remote access to my PC ??? KRDP should autostart and share the desktop without any dialog. Unattended access should be enabled by default if I have it on autostart SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The dialog should only appear once, if set to "Remember my selection" Can you share more information of your system? It's possibly a bug with the portal itself, not KRDP (I know, it's a bit confusing :/ )
Set as waitingforinfo

Yet the "Enable RDP server" is not toggled ON. It is OFF. Using Plasma version 6.1.1 Frameworks version: 6.3.0 QT Version: 6.7.1 Kernel Version: 6.9.7-200.fc40.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics: Wayland
The "restoring future sessions" seems not working. It keeps asking for sessions before each connections, even if I already checked it before. However, I didn't experience dialogs at startup. The dialog always shows when a client is making a connection. OS: Arch Linux KDE Plasma: 6.2.5 KDE Frameworks: 6.9.0 KWin: 6.2.5 KRDP: 6.2.5
I am seeing this too on Solus Plasma, also the setting remember for future sessions doesn't survive reboot or after a few hours of lock screen.
Getting password read error -7 when I have auto-login enabled in Solus plasma with KRDP auto start. Is it loading too fast and not reading the set password?
