Created attachment 170566 [details] issue *** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** SUMMARY I bought the monitor Philips 278E1A, and from time to time the shared desktop is not shown properly: quite difficult to explain. Basically, the image is shifted right (or left) and the part that is outside the frame is shown at the opposite side. See the attachment. Please not that the image refers to a different monitor: I changed to a different one, same issue. It seems that changing the frequency from 60Hz to 50Hz (or vice versa) fix the problem temporarily. The issue occurs randomly, with no intervention. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. This is fixed in Plasma 6, and especially with the Wayland session.
