SUMMARY The set position for the task bar is ignored when you set monitor priority. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set your position for your task bar on one of your monitors. 2. Change the priority of your monitors. 3. Notice how your task bar just moved. OBSERVED RESULT Task bar is moved EXPECTED RESULT When the user sets the position of the task bar it should take priority over "monitor priority". SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS EndeavourOS KDE Framework: 6.0.90 Qt Version: 6.8.0 Kernel Version: 6.9.4-arch1-1 (64 bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Additional Notes: While attempting to fill out this bug report I noticed that I am unable to copy details from the "About this system" page in the system settings and paste it into the text field using the Brave web browser.
I noticed that my brightness and other applets stopped working entirely as well. I rebooted and now my clipboard and the other applets are now working as expected. The task bar issue still remains.
This is intentional behavior.
(In reply to David Redondo from comment #2) > This is intentional behavior. I see, then what I was experiencing before was a bug? Because before I updated I was able to keep my task bar on my monitor and set the priority to my TV for my games to open up there instead of my monitor, this is what I want. I don't want my task bar going to my TV when I am playing games like this. Kingdom Hearts in particular opens multiple windows which is what prompted the need to change my priority in the first place.
