Does it fail to input characters until the monitor turns on?

Does this system have only one monitor, or more than one?

At least Bug 488827 is fully resolved, so I think bug #488516 should be closed as well. Can anyone confirm and close?

No problem with X11 but problem with wayland.
Comment 8 TraceyC 2025-01-27 21:46:00 UTC
I'm able to replicate this on git-master with a laptop and its display
1. Lock the screen
2. Wait for the display to go to sleep (session is set to go to sleep much later0
3. Start typing

The first character I typed was not in the password field
