Created attachment 170501 [details] Webp to open and try to re-export *** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** SUMMARY When opening a webp file in Krita, and exporting it again as webp, Krita crashes immediately. Terminal shows no error. I wanted to follow https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports but it says "(K)Ubuntu has debuginfod starting with 22.10" and I still use 22.04. But you can try on your side, it will be fast to see if you can repro or not. Else you'll have to give me some way to debug on Ubuntu 22.04 (I also have some ArchLinux to test to compare if needed). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open some webp in Krita, as a document. I attached one sample black rectangle if you want a quickstart 2a. File > Export... > new_file.webp > keep default settings (I use Save as animated WebP, Preset Default, Lossless encoding off, Quality 90%, Tradeoff 4, Dithering on, if that matters) OR 2b. File > Save As... > new_file.webp OBSERVED RESULT Crash EXPECTED RESULT Save/export without crash SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 22.04 with Unity desktop (available in About System) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
