Using Dolphin normally for sometime now, but everytime I restart the computer, Dolphin does not remember its last size and position. Closing it manually, I can see that the file $HOME/.local/share/dolphin/dolphinstaterc has an updated timestamp, but its contents do not reflect the current size and position where the window was. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.7 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I've also check under System settings > Window Management > Window behavior > Advanced > Allow apps to remember the positions of their windows... That option is enabled. Changing it does not make any difference. I'm not sure if this is actually realted to Dolphin, because other apps are also not remembering their positions (System Settings for example). Best regards.
I'm afraid Dolphin 21.12.3 is unfortunately no longer eligible for support or maintenance from KDE. Dolphin is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one. Please update to Dolphin 21.12.3 as soon as your distro offers it to you. If you need support for Dolphin 21.12.3, please contact your distro, who bears the responsibility of providing support for older non-LTS releases. If this issue is still reproducible in Dolphin 24.05, feel free to re-open this bug report. Thanks for understanding!
