SUMMARY
Audio devices do not show up in audio volume applet.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Click on audio volume applet. It's blank
2.  Using floating panel
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
No devices in Audio applet.

EXPECTED RESULT
All the devices should be there.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 
macOS: 
Linux/KDE Plasma:  openSUSE Tumbleweed/Plasma 6.0.5
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.5

Does anything show up there if you restart plasmashell with `systemctl restart --user plasma-plasmashell.service` (or `plasmashell --replace`, if you've manually disabled the systemd integration)?

Yes, restarting plasmashell has the devices show up just lioke they should.

Ok, so it's a race condition somehow.
