Can confirm, emails remain stuck in outbox. Happens on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, ksmtp-24.05.0-1.1.x86_64
Comment 2 Jeffrey Bouter 2024-06-16 17:27:18 UTC
Nevermind, I can no longer reproduce this issue on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed (ksmtp-24.05.0-1.1.x86_64)
Comment 3 Félim Whiteley 2024-06-24 09:12:15 UTC
Update today 2024-06-24

kpim6-ksmtp:amd64 (24.05.0-0xneon+22.04+jammy+release+build29, 24.05.1-0xneon+22.04+jammy+release+build30)

Still an issue:

org.kde.pim.ksmtp: SMTP Socket error: QAbstractSocket::ConnectionRefusedError "Connection refused"
Comment 4 Félim Whiteley 2024-06-24 09:24:16 UTC
Just to make sure it wasn't a config file that was mangled I reset the password in Kmail for that account. No luck, but receiving works fine.
Comment 5 Félim Whiteley 2024-06-24 12:02:44 UTC
Ok solved it, after looking at the sending settings in kmail for the 50003rd time spotted it had changed the outgoing STARTTLS port to 587, it should be 25 for me mail server. So not sure where or how that has taken place, but it did during the first upgrade.
