SUMMARY
Kmix does not start in plasma6. When I search for it in menu, click, it appears to be loading and then stops and does not load.
When I try starting it from terminal, it seems to launch correctly, but actually it is not launched.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch Kmix

OBSERVED RESULT
Kmix did not start

EXPECTED RESULT
Kmix starts

Funnily enough, using keys to change the volume and kmix settings work. Just the volume mixer will not launch.

I had the exact same "bug" too. I don't know if they fix this or not, and how to even fix this. There is no errors whatsoever. KMix is just not launching for some reason, and KMix worked perfectly fine before. Not it is just not launching.

You likely have this simply hidden in the system tray.

No, I have it in the system tray. When I click on it, it is just not launching KMix. Even when I try to launch KMix via Application Launcher, it just launch for like 2 seconds then disappear. And nothing show up when I launch via `kmix` command in terminal either, not even error or a confirmation or anything.
