Created attachment 170370 [details] Screen capture of the panel with artefacts SUMMARY Seeing strange artefacts around the KDE panel when it's in centred mode floating at the bottom of the screen. See screenshot that's attached to the report. This is a fresh installation of KDE 6.0.5 on Fedora 40 using the Breeze Dark theme and a standard wallpaper. Do note that this is an external screen connected to a (closed) laptop. It appears the code that draws the shadow around the panel is not using the correct background to render the alpha-blended shadows on. System details: Operating System: Fedora Linux 40 KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.1 Kernel Version: 6.8.11-300.fc40.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 22 × Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 155H Memory: 30.8 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® Arc Manufacturer: LG Electronics Product Name: 17Z90SP-E.ADB9U1 System Version: 0.1
What's also interesting is that changing the wallpaper doesn't remove the artefact, nor does changing the size of the panel.
Also, happens on all panels, not just the panel with the Task Manager on...
Only happens when the panel is set to be transparent/translucent. If it's opaque the error is not seen.
Ignore above - also happens on Opaque mode!
