Description Antti Savolainen 2024-06-10 19:41:09 UTC
SUMMARY
Demonstrative video: https://youtu.be/mhQ37CBEvqA
I have set up my server so that the connection is verified with an ssh key instead of a password. If I try to open this connection with dolphin, it prompts for the passkey to open it multiple times.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set up a server that you access with an ssh key
2. Connect to that server with dolphin

OBSERVED RESULT
The ssh key opening dialogue is prompted for multiple times.

EXPECTED RESULT
The key should be prompted for a single time.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0
Qt Version: 6.7.1
Comment 1 Nicolas Fella 2024-06-10 20:20:44 UTC
The first two prompts are from gnome-keyring, presumably because that is used as ssh-askpass
Comment 2 Antti Savolainen 2024-06-10 20:42:27 UTC
You are correct. The small window was gcr-prompter while the one that I haven't excluded from tiling is org.kde.kiod6
