Description m1vri31c 2024-06-05 07:13:47 UTC
SUMMARY
When viewing tags from tag fragments (tags:/), it looks like you could rename a tag and have that tag be changed on every file tagged that way. Dolphin allows you to enter rename mode, but renaming a tag just results in an error, as well as an erroneous removal of that tag from the list of tags.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Navigate to tags:/ or All Tags
2. Rename a tag

OBSERVED RESULT
Error popup window appears, "The file or folder tags:/[tag to be renamed] does not exist." and the tag is removed from all tags, despite that tag still existing.

EXPECTED RESULT
Everywhere that tag appears it is renamed, OR rename functionality is disabled for tag fragments.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
NixOS 24.11 (unstable channel)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0
Qt Version: 6.7.1
