Created attachment 170147 [details] an image of Kolourpaint, open to a blank canvas, with the Color box undocked. SUMMARY I'm able to un-dock the Color box to have it as a separate window from the main one, but I cannot re-dock it anywhere in the Kolourpaint window. I also cannot return it to the main window by closing the window, or by resetting any thing in the settings. Getting rid of all user data does put it back in the default location but I cannot seem to put it back in any other way. I have tried this on both the Debian repo version and on the Flatpak version. This is functionality that works in other KDE programs, like Krita. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install and run Kolourpaint. 2. Undock the Color box from the main window by dragging it out of place. 3. Try to move the Color box around or close it and see if you can put it back? OBSERVED RESULT Nothing puts it back in the main window. EXPECTED RESULT It should be able to be returned to the main window. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Debian 12 (bookworm) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8
Seems to be a KWin issue. Are you using a Wayland session?
