STEPS TO REPRODUCE Move each panel to its own window and make it as small as possible by dragging the bottom right corner of each window. OBSERVED RESULT Each window can be made very small or at least reasonably small in relation to the content. EXPECTED RESULT 1. Some windows can be made unreasonably small. For example the main window/timeline can be made so narrow, that you cannot drag the window header any more. This is ok though, since no window can be made so small that it breaks the ability to make them bigger again. 2. Some windows seem to have minimum size limitations without reason: - Compositions (should allow at least 50% less width and 75% less height) - Effects (should allow at least 50% less width and 75% less height) - Subtitles (should allow at least 50% less width and 50% less height) (this panel can probably be made more efficient with smaller buttons, less text and more compact placement of elements but that could use research/comparison to subtitle editing apps/UIs) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045 Kdenlive 8308 nightly Windows 10 kdenlive-master-8308-windows-gcc-x86_64.7z KDE Frameworks Version 6.2.0 Qt Version 6.7.1 (built against 6.7.1) Related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356642 Attached is a screenshot of the separate panels at minimum size.
