Please provide some useful information if you really want help. What operating system/distribution are you using? What are you using for RDP, and what exact command are you using? Are you running xorg or Wayland (if on Linux?) Can you run any other program this way? More specifically, can you run any other KDE program this way? It probably doesn't matter, but what distribution/operating system is on the remote system.
Created attachment 169982 [details] attachment-2196051-0.html Hi Jack, KMymoney is installed on a win 10 PC (Win10PC1) Using it on the PC itself is fine. When i Remote into the Win10PC1 using Windows native Remote Desktop form a another Win10 PC and try to open KMYmoney it gives me error and dosent open. If i open KMymoney from Win10PC1 and once the program is running and then i Remote into the PC it works fine. Hope it makes sense Thanks On Wed, 29 May 2024 at 15:40, Jack <bugzilla_noreply@kde.org> wrote: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=487734 > > Jack <ostroffjh@users.sourceforge.net> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Status|REPORTED |NEEDSINFO > Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO > > --- Comment #1 from Jack <ostroffjh@users.sourceforge.net> --- > Please provide some useful information if you really want help. First, when you reply to a bug by email, please trim everything except your response. Your entire message becomes the next comment, and having the previous comment included makes the flow more difficult to read. Your explanation does help. Now two more questions. Can you launch any other programs remotely? In particular, can you launch any other KDE programs? Do you get any warnings or errors? If not, try launching from command line. Open a command prompt (DOS box or power shell,) find where the kmymoney.exe file is located, switch to that directory and just type "kmymooney." There should be some message about why it cant start.

Created attachment 170497 [details] attachment-511955-0.html Hi Sorry for not getting back to you earlier, This has been sorted now, it was my display card driver. Once updated all looks good. I am still testing the software, moved from moneydance. Had been using Moneydace for a few years now. A couple of smaller issues i am facing,if you can guide me Is there a way to get the income and expense detailed report similar to the income and expense by year but a net profit/loss calculated at the end of the report giving you a complete view for that year Also when you are manually entering transaction, after finishing entering the transaction need to keep using the mouse to click New to enter the next transaction is there a way to sent that it goes into the next transaction entry mode. Apart from that all looks good Thanks Thanks
Thanks for letting us know. Please take further discussion to https://discuss.kde.org or one of the other options listed at https://kmymoney.org/support.html. On the report, have you looked at the cash flow reports? If those are not what you want, please describe in more detail how what you want differs from what is available. There have been some changes to reports in master branch, but it is not likely that these will be backported to 5.1. In that case, it would be best if you can provide a small example set of data. Depending on whether your keyboard shortcuts have been altered (I don't know if the defaults are changed on Windows) Ctl-Ins starts a new transaction. You can confirm this by clicking the Transaction Menu and see if a shortcut is listed on the New menu item.

(In reply to Parvez from comment #7) > Created attachment 170498 [details] > sample.pdf > > Thanks for a quick reply, > Please find attached sample report. > Have attached both PDF and csv Reports > Thanks & Regards Hi Parvez, I noticed you uploaded a sample report. Does this mean the current Cash Flow reports do not work for you? I looked at your example. I think, what you are looking for is something I am looking for as well. Except that maybe I also want to see money coming in as transfers, not only Income. Are you looking for a report that includes transfers between Assets and Liability accounts as well or only Income - Expenses. For example, income - expenses does not take into account when money leaves an Asset (checking) account to pay for a mortgage's principal loan amount (liability). From a household perspective, looking at only income and expenses reports, it will seem like there was more income then what is in the checking account. Whereas, if you look at a cashflow, you will notice that there was income but also some transfers out of the account to pay for some liabilities (not considered expenses). Anyways, I was just wondering if your report was intended to only capture income - expenses or if you intended to also include transfers between Asset and Liability accounts.
Jesse - as I said in Comment #6, for such discussions, please don't use a closed bug report, but use https://discuss.kde.org, or one of the other options listed at https://kmymoney.org/support.html. Also, do some searching, as I believe that topic has been discussed recently (sorry I don't have a link handy.) I do believe that in versions of KMyMoney from master branch, it is possible to get asset/liability accounts included in some income/expense reports.
