Created attachment 169927 [details] Christmas tree artifact along the right edge *** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Observable as soon as logged into the desktop environment. The darker the background, the more noticeable. For example, open any window (e.g. Chrome) -> maximize -> open bugs.kde.org 2. If your system theme is dark, or Chrome uses Dark Reader, most of the page is dark, including the right edge, where the scrollbar is. 3. Notice within the last column of pixel (i.e. the rightmost line), speckles (could be any of R, G, B) shows up and disappear at random locations, like a Christmas tree. Currently most of them are within the 25%~50% region from the top to bottom. 4. This may have to do with DPI and window settings. I use mine at 150%, and tweaked the sizes in window settings. If I switch back to 100% things are fine. OBSERVED RESULT Colorful speckles at the right edge EXPECTED RESULT No such artifact SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Kernel Version: 6.8.10-300.fc40.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-7500 CPU @ 3.40GHz Memory: 46.9 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 Monitor: ASUS VA32AQ
