Description Adam Williamson 2024-05-28 23:01:50 UTC
SUMMARY
When first starting a Plasma 6.0.90 desktop, if you hit alt-d-s without doing anything else, it doesn't launch Desktop Settings as it should. However, e.g. alt-f2 does work to open a launcher dialog. If you click on the desktop once, alt-d-s now works as expected. I guess this is a focus issue?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Log into a clean Plasma 6.0.90 desktop (tested on Fedora Rawhide)
2. Immediately, without doing anything else, hit alt-d-s
3. Now click once on the desktop and hit alt-d-s again

OBSERVED RESULT
First alt-d-s does not launch desktop settings, second one does

EXPECTED RESULT
First alt-d-s should launch desktop settings

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Rawhide, Plasma 6.0.90

The desktop is not meant to have focus by default
