Description Sebastian Hirsch 2024-05-26 02:13:37 UTC
SUMMARY

It would be nice if Haruna would be able to open a folder instead of just single files. This could be useful when listening to music or when watching serial video content. The folder content could be queued into a playlist to make playback and file management easy.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Try to open a folder with Haruna.
2. Open playlist to see if files got added.

OBSERVED RESULT

Nothing happens as this is not supported.

EXPECTED RESULT

The folder gets opened and the content gets queued into the playlist.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma: Kernel 6.8/Plasma 6.0.4
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0
Qt Version: 6.7

I created an account just to voice my support for this. I migrated from windows to linux recently and I really miss this feature from PotPlayer where you could add folders as playlists and have sub folders for seasons for example and it would auto detect when there are new files or sub folders.

When you open a file, all files in that folder get loaded in the playlist.
And in 1.5 you can drag folders and files on the app.
