SUMMARY When clicking on the hamburger menu in the top right of the playlist, there are options to toggle Artist, Rating and so on. Unfortunately, ticking and un-ticking these does not seem to have an effect on what is displayed in the Playlist. I'll attach a screenshot that shows a wildly different selection than what is displayed. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 Kernel Version: 6.9.1-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 32 × 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13900HX Memory: 62.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® Graphics Manufacturer: TUXEDO Product Name: PD5x_7xSNC_SND_SNE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Amarok is built from source pulled from git master on 2024-05-25 It used to display all the ratings, etc, but I have recently started a clean login profile, and from then on I am not seeing the ratings in the playlist, which is what I am really interested in, as I am slowly going through my music collection, fixing Genre and rating.
Created attachment 169807 [details] Screenshot Screenshot, showing that what is displayed in the playlist is not matching what is selected to be displayed in the playlist.
Ah, I see that's probably not totally intuitive, but the menu shown in the screenshot is for changing playlist filter/search settings. You should be able to change playlist layout from [top menubar] -> Playlist -> Playlist Layouts -> Configure Playlist Layouts... (or by selecting one of the default layouts in that menu)
Agreed on the non-intuitiveness of the setting. I was looking in Amarok settings as well, everywhere except right in front of me. Silly me, and hopefully someone else will find this bug report useful. Closing.
