Any attempt to save a file in any format in any folder OBSERVED RESULT Failed to save The file could not be opened for writing. Reason: The file could not be opened. OK Show details -> The file could not be opened for writing. Reason: The file could not be opened. EXPECTED RESULT Saving a file SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10, computer - Dell ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I've been using Krita for about 2 years and this error appeared yesterday. I reinstalled Krita, restarted the computer and tried to find a solution on the forums (however, I found only 1 post with the same problem and there was no answer to it)
You should not use a backslash in a filename when saving on a windows system; it's a reserved character marking folders.
