SUMMARY After reboot, the permissions for remote input are lost. This makes using it impossible if no mouse/keyboard is connected. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Grant remote input permissions. 2. Check that remote input works. 3. Reboot. OBSERVED RESULT Permission dialog is shown again. EXPECTED RESULT Permission dialog is not shown and remote input just works. The workaround described above doesn't solve the problem in my case.
The workaround is obsolete with Plasma 6. The relevant bug is https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=480235.
Can probably be closed now with the fix in Plasma 6.1.
