SUMMARY
"Open in file manager" ("Ouvrir dans le gestionnaire de fichiers", in French) in "Disks & peripherals" (in French "Disques et périphériques") in systray does not work for PTP camera (Nikon S5100). "Display pictures in file manager" (in French, "Afficher les photoes dans le gestionnaire de fichiers") works though, need to unfold camera item.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect camera
2. Wait for it to appear in the "Disks & peripherals" (in French "Disques et périphériques") in the systray
3. Click on "Open in file manager"

OBSERVED RESULT
It opens home folder.

EXPECTED RESULT
It should open `camera:/`

Comment 1 MK 2024-08-19 13:42:11 UTC
My system is affected as well. The only way to access the camera once it's attached via USB cable is to manually type "camera:/" into the address bar in Dolphin.

Also, I believe this bug should be opened against Dolphing and not Kamera, as Kamera appears to be correctly reading the make and type of my camera.
