I also noticed the bug also happens when moving the mouse to an edge trigger on the desktop with no apps open. Open Gimp, Audacity, Chromium, Steam or any other app with the bug 2. Open a menu of any kind (right-click menu, options menu, drop-down menu) 3. The cursor will change to an "X" OBSERVED RESULT Mouse cursor changing from default to an "X" icon EXPECTED RESULT Mouse cursor does not change SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 40 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Also on Fedora KDE 40, I can't reproduce this issue in any of those apps. Does the issue reproduce for you in a new clean user account?
