The option to set a monitor to primary does not appear right away after changing the monitor config. This did not happen in Plasma 5.27. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Connect two monitors 2. Open Plasma systemsettings and go to "Display & Monitor" 3. Set your primary monitor to "Primary", disable the second monitor in systemstettings and power it off 4. Close Plasma systemsettings 5. Open Plasma systemsettings and go to "Display & Monitor" 6. Power on and enable the second monitor in systemstettings 7. Set the second monitor to "Primary", disable the first monitor in systemstettings and power it off 8. Close Plasma systemsettings 9. Open Plasma systemsettings and go to "Display & Monitor" 10. Power on and enable the first monitor in systemstettings OBSERVED RESULT The option to set a monitor to "Primary" doesn't show up. It only shows up after you click on another section in Plasma systemsettings (for example "Sound") and then click on "Display & Monitor" again. EXPECTED RESULT The option to set a monitor to "Primary" shows up right away without having to change sections. That's how it was in Plasma 5.27 and older.
