Created attachment 169585 [details] pixels on the lock screen that don't belong SUMMARY On my Framework 13" I've noticed the bottom row of pixels is occasionally "garbage" like it isn't properly being used by either Plasma or Kwin. This effect carries over to the lock screen where some of the blue outline from the Icon Only task Manager can still be seen (see the attached screen shots). REPRODUCTION I believe to reproduce this you need a 2256x1504 (such as the one used by the framework, and a 1.5x scaling factor). When I turned off scaling, I could no longer see the buggy pixels. Enabling scaling again lead me to see the bottom row of pixels from the 1.0x scale factor (tiny status icons) at the bottom of the lock screen. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Fedora Linux 40 KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.1.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 Kernel Version: 6.5.6-300.fc39.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 7840U w/ Radeon 780M Graphics Memory: 14.9 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics Manufacturer: Framework Product Name: Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen 7040Series) System Version: A7 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This is similar to Bug 460896 but I believe it's different (related to KWin's scaling).

Created attachment 169587 [details] a short video of the glitch on the lock screen This is an interesting one as it shows the glitch occurring with pixels that seemingly have nothing to do with anything. This isn't limited to just happening on the lock screen, but it demonstrates how weird and distracting this case be. Sometimes things move like this, sometimes they don't.
