SUMMARY My email provider regularly restarts the IMAP service occasionally. When this happens, trojita goes into offline mode, I get an error message, and the imap dialog pops up. I then have to manually set it back to online mode and it works fine... until the IMAP server restarts again. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Wait for the IMAP service to restart OBSERVED RESULT 1: Error message 2: Offline mode 3: IMAP console appears EXPECTED RESULT 1: It just waits until the IMAP service is back and carries on SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Neon 6.0 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.1.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Thank you for the fantastic email client that "Just works", very light and very hard to mess up.

Added screenshots illustrating the issue. Ideally, it'd just reconnect once the server is available, that way I don't have to manually turn the connection back on. This is exacerbated by me having multiple Trojita instances running that are connected to multiple inboxes.
Trojitá is no longer maintained, please switch to a maintained alternative like https://apps.kde.org/kmail2/ Sorry for the inconveniences.
