Since https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/commit/d55fa39ebf4b758f191700539ba06c09305189ee I've been getting a horrific amount of log spam in journald. It's a sea in there. Getting hundreds of lines of ``` kwin_wayland_drm: Signed range property value out of bounds. "CRTC_X" value: 0 min: -1 max: -1 May 07 21:55:34 archlinux kwin_wayland[1110]: kwin_wayland_drm: Signed range property value out of bounds. "CRTC_Y" value: 0 min: -1 max: -1 May 07 21:55:34 archlinux kwin_wayland[1110]: kwin_wayland_drm: Signed range property value out of bounds. "IN_FENCE_FD" value: 115 min: -1 max: -1 ```
This was already fixed, you need to update to https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/commit/24807dfa50f0583a8cd509465ff706c48a9719a8

Nice luck I have there... Thanks. :)
Unfortunately, that commit doesn't fix the log spam issue. Still lots of May 08 15:03:37 archlinux kwin_wayland[1509]: kwin_wayland_drm: Signed range property value out of bounds. "IN_FENCE_FD" value: 191 min: -1 max: -1 May 08 15:03:37 archlinux kwin_wayland[1509]: kwin_wayland_drm: Signed range property value out of bounds. "CRTC_X" value: 952 min: -1 max: -1 May 08 15:03:37 archlinux kwin_wayland[1509]: kwin_wayland_drm: Signed range property value out of bounds. "CRTC_Y" value: 530 min: -1 max: -1
Are you sure you're not still running the old version? IN_FENCE_FD has a max of INT32_MAX, not -1
Can confirm. I double-checked a few times to make sure. Recompiled and rebooted also. :/
Running latest master. Still have the error.
Sigh. And now I can't trigger it at the moment. Somehow, I have the most cursed luck at times, and I'm not even sure how it happens. Closing. :| Sorry for wasting your time. :(
