Right now https://kde.org/fundraisers/plasma6member shown the number of supporting numbers, and a list of their names. This has proved unexpectedly useful for fundraising: 1. "Number goes up" psychology encourages people to help raise the number of supporting members 2. People like seeing their own names listed there, and are therefore incentivized to become supporting members However that web page is specific to the 2023 Plasma 6 fundraising drive and will diminish in profile over time. I think it would be useful to migrate the details about supporting members to https://kde.org/donations. And ideally it would be auto-generated from something so it doesn't have to be updated by hand. KDE e.V. does pay for DonorBox API access, so this should be feasible.

There was talk of making the current page re-direct to _donations_ and include some elements of the old page there. This should include the number of donors as you suggest. This is a good idea. > And > ideally it would be auto-generated from something so it doesn't have to be > updated by hand. KDE e.V. does pay for DonorBox API access, so this should > be feasible. We do? We definitely should automate it then.
As per your suggestion lets use gitlab to track this, as their is a plan for a bigger redesign. Meta issue: https://invent.kde.org/websites/kde-org/-/issues/29
