This problem has existed for years now except with plasma 6 it got worse. In the past the menu popup was a least usable but now it simply disappears after a second.

It still happens to me on both my Neon desktop and my Tumbleweed laptop. Not a complete show-stopper, but very annoying and crippling to the widget nonetheless.
