Hi there and thanks for all you are doing for the community If we enable secondary calendar then we have the date information of that calendar in tool-tip (by hovering the digital clock - thanks for your attention to my report about this and making it available) but what if we want to have that date as our main date shown in the first place in the digital clock? currently there is no way to choose what date format to be shown in the clock and it defaults to Gregorian calendar format. Could you please provide a solution to let user to choose what calendar should be the main one so the date shown in clock is of that calendar?
Issue Description: When users enable the alternate calendar in the calendar plasmoid, a sub label for the date appears everywhere in the applet except for the main date shown on the desktop navbar. This inconsistency can be confusing for users who wish to have the alternate calendar format reflected prominently on the desktop. Proposed Solution: I propose adding an additional checkbox beside the existing option to enable the alternate calendar. This new checkbox will allow users to select which date format (Gregorian or alternate calendar) should be displayed as the main date on the desktop navbar. Steps to Reproduce: - Enable the alternate calendar in the calendar plasmoid settings. - Notice that the alternate calendar format is applied in sub labels within the applet but not on the desktop navbar. Expected Behavior: After enabling the alternate calendar there is not way to select the appropriate style of the date displayed on the desktop navbar. It should reflect the chosen calendar format consistently with the rest of the applet.
